The waterfall

For far too many New Years Eves, I spent midnight at this waterfall.

 

It's about three meters high, down a ravine near my old house.

In winter, it is even nicer than in this clip.

Frozen clunks and gurgles.

 

I suspect some editors thought the Sunday columns about it were complete bulls--t.

 

But a cottager on the same road shares this video image of the setting. We're looking east.

 

Dogs. Apple cider. Stars. Snowflakes.

I heard a dog bark.
