You would not be reading this, if I hadn't found James Thurber in my high school library.
Thurber wrote over 40 books.
My school had 10 of them.
And Irwin Cobb. Robert Benchley.
And S.J. Perelman.
I got tossed more than once, laughing like a lunatic at what I read.
Famous for his New Yorker cartoons, Thurber's best-known story is about that night.
You know the one.
