Tom Lehrer--94--has put all his songs online (including lyrics & sheet music), and given away all rights to them. The site will only be up for a limited time. This will make a small segment of people very happy.
Best of all, there are audioclips of Lehrer singing all of the four dozen songs, many obscure classics.
The Harvard math prof became an underground hero during the cold war, with Be Prepared, National Brotherhood Week, Poisoning Pigeons in the Park and Who's Got the Bomb.

I grew up on his records. In the ‘70s, my high school Chemistry teacher would play The Elements every semester. I was the idiot in the back of the class calling out ‘Now play Poisoning Pigeons in the Park!’ and he always did. Everyone needs a teacher like that. It’s their fault that I’m like this today… Thanks Dunf … this is still the best damn column. Now, where did I put my gloves…my Christmas gloves?
I hear they're really fashionable this year!
