Good idea to shoot the biggest stunt in the eighth Mission Impossible first, since if you kill Tom Cruise, you can scrub or rewrite the rest of the film.
Billed as the "biggest stunt in movie history," a nine-minute promo clip above shows how it was done. Motorcycles, cliffs, parasails, choppers.
And since Cruise apparently has a death wish, the stunt was shot ... six ... times.
For about a minute of screen time.
The flick is coming next July.
