Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble...

 _

All hail the Noma bubble light, those hissing, bubbling devil-bulbs that always seem ready to fry the cat and the tree.

In any string, one will light but never bubble. Three will bubble so violently you stay well away from the tree.

Two will touch tinsel and darken the house.

We love you bubble lights.

Bubble lights for Christmas decoration were first patented in the United States by Carl W. Otis and introduced in 1946 by NOMA, one of the largest American manufacturers of Christmas lights.
