One of the earliest podcast platforms is defunct.
"On August 29, the Stitcher app and web listening platform will be disabled. At that time, you will no longer be able to access your shows, downloads, preferences or listening history. It will be removed from app stores."
Stitcher was born before there were app stores. It's the sixth largest audio platform. There is pressure to push podcast fans to paid audio sites.
