When sick is better than dead. 

Two scheduled U.S. executions have been stopped because both prisoners contracted COVID-19 at the Indiana facility that houses death row. A judge says they've “suffered significant lung damage” from COVID-19 that would cause the execution to be extraordinarily painful for them, “akin to waterboarding.”
