Muddy Waters & The Rolling Stones .

Chicago's Checkerboard Lounge is home base for virtually every great blues artist of the last half century.

It's a temple of shit-happens song.

It has the bulletholes in the ceiling to prove it.

Here's a long clip of The Stones crowding in the little southside club to pay homage to Muddy Waters.

How do you get 25 minutes out of a song with only 14 words? Apparently, if you're trailing a film crew for a DVD extra, you can.

My boys…! ❤️❤️❤️

They sang this with Muddy that night, but this version of the Stones with Buddy Guy is seriously the best damn thing on the internet! Was thrilled to see them do it when Buddy opened for them in Milwaukee in ‘15…which was the only reason I went to Milwaukee!

Yes, but did you see the Stones width the great Solomon Burke? The great r&b star honoured Mick with a special gesture and the wee British singer practically fell over!
