When I find a new-to-me bit of Brazilian music, above, I dance around the house like a fool.
In just under five minutes, I'm in love with the gamin-like singer (Audrey Hepburn? Elis Regina?) and the minimalist pianist that will have me pulling my Bill Evans CDs all day.
Cheer this odd bounce and bubble of a jazz quartet--plus three clarinets and a violin.
What?
Irresistable.

She's Alba Armengou. Spanish, not Brazilian. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiJlAE2sfQc&list=PLfQ-BP1a0n4CJFiafJXIaWP7c6PTUxsAY
Joan Chamorro is the bassist, and famed for working with young musicians.
It's the song that's Brazilian, as is much of the Sant Andreu students' best repertoire.
Joan Chamorro is the founder and director of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, a youth band based in Barcelona.
Yes, you're right. Thanks for including some 'other' musics, in my case jazz. Love it. I miss the real thing on what was CJRT in Toronto. Not the socalled jazz fm there now.
