With so many not in a car, workplace or airport, it's amazing to see the traffic in podcast futures.
I listen to about 10 podcasts a week. They're at least an hour long, often two--tho often I'm gone within 10 minutes.
Nothing could induce me to listen to more.
But at last count, there were more than 300,000 podcasts, most with a listener count of two: the podcaster and his/her mum.
I'm told truckers, cooks and couples who want to ignore their partner listen in bulk.
But as the chart below shows, Scripps buys Stitcher for $4.5 million and sells it three years later to Sirius for $325 million?
Call me dubious of these "values"...
