Words I had to check this week…
Prinks … drinks served previous to a dinner or special occasion, at a separate location
Perseveration …. the pathological, persistent repetition of a word, gesture or act, often associated with brain damage or schizophrenia
Emendations …. an alteration designed to correct or improve
Scion … a shoot or twig, especially one cut for grafting or planting, a cutting.
Remoulade … a French cold sauce based on mayonnaise. Similar to tartar sauce.
Rice spaces … Rice University, established Rice Space Institute, thus slots available for Space Force candidates
--ALL the above words used so far at the US conventions.
