Three Pines--the little town Louise Penny created for her cozy, best-seller mysteries--is soon to be a eight-part Amazon Prime series.
Perhaps Penny's Inspect Armand Gamache will be as successful for Prime as Bosch, seven top-rated seasons based on Michael Connelly's conflicted detective hero.
Starring Alfred Molina as Chief Inspector Gamache, Three Pines will be filmed from August to December in Montreal and rural Quebec.
