"When you hear sweet syncopation and the music softly moans;
T'ain't no sin to take off your skin
and dance around in your bones.
When it gets too hot for comfort,
and you can't get an ice cream cone
T'ain't no sin to take off your skin,
and dance around in your bones ... "
Dan Russo "and his Oriole Orchestra" made a dozen 10-inch, 78 rpm discs in the roaring 1920s.
Hot in the U.S. midwest, his band was named after the Oriole Terrace, their longtime Detroit hotspot.
