Strombo reveals a secret

_

I'm intrigued by an hour with Strombo--George Stroumboulopoulos--that appeared a day ago, above.

An episode of a US-based mental health podcast that "highlights the lowlights," Strombo is interviewed about his life and celebrated career as interviewer and media personality.

There are shout-outs to Malton and Rexdale.

It's fascinating to see a skilled interviewer interviewed about himself.

Broadcast-wise Strombo runs circles around his host, but offers insights about his bad boy youth and mom that were new to me. But late in the hour, comes a long story about a mystery man.

Who is the "pretty famous" Canadian radio guy Strombo sez made a sexual move on him at the start of his Toronto career when he was 14? The sexual predator is still alive and allegedly widely known for harassing male staff, George claims.

Strombo sez the industry protects the no-name.

George plots revenge.

That story is at the 54 minute mark.

Strombo hosts a daily show for Apple Music.

And his Strombo Show and House of Strombo  channels are truly among YouTube's musical treasures.
