Alec Baldwin evidence stunner: New Mexico 'destroyed' gun used in 'Rust' shooting, lawyer 

3.10 p.m.

Baldwin's attorney told a judge that the state "destroyed" the firearm from the deadly "Rust" shooting that killed the film's cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

4.15 p.m.

Prosecutor says the state still has the gun, but it was damaged by FBI months ago when it was examined.

FBI says it accidentally broke the gun used in the accident.
