True Facts: Parasite Birds

The most disturbing thing I've seen lately.

Bad birds. Or bee-yerds.

"Like taking a dump in a neighbor's pool...."

WTF?

See Spot lick what's not there.

 See Spot try to bark.

 Spot has sad eyes.

Have you had your donut?

A tiny Timmy's dough-hole is not enough to power thru your day.

You want A Full, Nourishing Adult Donut.

FLASHBACK: the Traveling Wilburys

_

Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne,

Roy Orbison and Tom Petty were The Traveling Wilburys, a touring Brit-US supergoup.

A wilbury is a gremlin; a mythological creature that is mischevious, mechanically oriented, and extremely devious. (urban dictionary)

Wilbury was a line Harrison said to Lynne about small mistakes: "We'll bury them in the mix." (Wikipedia)

A wilbury is what George and Jeff called studio equipment and gizmos. (travelingwilburies.com)

You choose.

A used van maybe. A new one costs $60,000

TECH MIRACLE: The Dial Comes To Town

_

Grandpa was totally hesitant about dialing his first phone number on the telephone. However, after facing his fear and reaching the party he wanted, he was overwhelmed with happiness. He then trudged off to his bedroom, crawled into bed, slipped under the covers and enjoyed himself over a task well done.

Bell Telephone offers an Instructional Short on this new-fangled Dial Telephone you've heard so much about.

"Why would they want to change something that works all right?" asks gramps.

If you don't understand how the dial works, be sure to attend "the meeting on how to use a dial." There will be big charts.

And a demo.

I have to dial my own phone?

Livin' the dream ...

HIGH TECH: Let your fingers do the walking

_

My god, my brain is bursting!

When will Dial Telephone be available in my area?

The letters go around the dial in alphabetical order! And the numbers are in numerical order--from one to nine and then, O.

Are you following this?

Get a pencil.

A pencil is a magic stick you should keep next to the phone. On second thought, crayons.

Swedish torture

Never happen now

"If you read enough books during the year in elementary school you got to have a sleepover in the library. Like we brought sleeping bags and slept on the floor. In the morning they had griddles out and we made pancakes. I know, total nerds, but it was my favorite elementary school memory."

Bored Panda asked readers to share their favorite school memory that could never happen now.  You can find 80 of them
