_Mickey Mouse learns Disney won't
condemn Florida's Don't Say Gay law.
It passed yesterday.
Mickey of course, is gay.
All the Disney parks host gay event days
for major loot.
Mickey introduces his new
sportswear line for gay dads and uncles.
Disney is also silent on Ukraine/Russia,
saying only 2% of its revenues
come from the region.
Say what?
Brian Lowry writes: "While I'm skeptical, based on history, that calls to boycott Disney over its wishy-washy response to Florida's 'Don't Say Gay' bill will significantly impact the company's bottom line, I'm even more skeptical that (Disney) adequately addresses the issue or is going to satisfy employees and studio partners opposed to the legislation... The bottom line PR-wise saying Disney supports the LGBTQ community rings hollow if the studio won't push back at all against Florida officials because it has so much invested in the Sunshine state..."
